Val d'Orcia

A day between Montalcino, San Quirico, Bagno Vignoni and Pienza

The Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO site, works well as a single day out: white gravel roads, lines of cypresses and villages only a few kilometres apart.

The classic route links Montalcino and its Brunello, San Quirico d'Orcia with the Horti Leonini, the thermal pool of Bagno Vignoni and the Renaissance square of Pienza.
