Siena in a day starting from Murlo

From Vescovado di Murlo, Siena is about 16 minutes away by car in normal traffic conditions: close enough to explore the historic centre without hurrying and return to the countryside in the evening.

The suggested route leaves the car at the Santa Caterina car park, takes the escalator up and continues on foot between Piazza del Campo, the Duomo, Santa Maria della Scala and San Domenico.
